2025 Hit-a-Thon

We are thrilled to kick off this exciting tradition once again, bringing together our players, families, and community for a day full of fun, competition, and support for our league. The Hit-a-Thon is more than just a showcase of hitting power—it’s one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, helping to provide essential resources for our players, from field improvements to equipment and scholarships.

Each player will step up to the plate with a chance to crush their best hits while raising funds through pledges and donations. It’s a fantastic way to support our young athletes while celebrating their dedication and hard work.

In the next section, you’ll find all the details you need, including the full event schedule and an overview of how the Hit-a-Thon will be structured. From check-in times to hitting rotations, we’ve outlined everything to ensure a fun and organized experience for all participants. Be sure to review the format so you know what to expect when it’s time to step up to the plate!

• T-Ball - 9:00-10:30am on Nash Field  - Each player will get 10 swings.  Every ball hit by a player off the tee will be considered a hit.
• Rookie - 9:00-11:00am on Kiwanis Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed for Rookie).  Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit into the field of play is considered a hit.
• Farm - 10:00-12:00pm on Coker-Ewing Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed for Farm).  Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit into the field of play is considered a hit.
• 50/70 & Juniors - 10:30-12:30pm on Nash Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed TBD). Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit that reaches the outfield (on a fly) is considered a hit.
• AA - 11:00-12:30pm on Kiwanis Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed TBD).  Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit into the field of play is considered a hit. 
• Moms Games on Coker-Ewing & Nash Fields - 12:30-2:00pm
• AAA - 2:00-4:00pm on Kiwanis Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed TBD). Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit into the field of play is considered a hit.
• Majors - 2:30-4:00pm on Coker-Ewing Field - Pitching machine will be used (speed TBD).  Each player gets 10 pitches, any ball hit that reaches the outfield grass is considered a hit. 

This event isn’t just about stepping up to the plate—it’s also about earning some amazing awards and prizes for top performances and fundraising efforts.

We’ll be recognizing standout players in multiple categories, including the longest hits, highest fundraising totals, and more. Whether you’re swinging for distance or rallying support for the league, there are plenty of ways to win big!


The Player from each Division who hits the furthest ball will receive a prize the day of the event!

The Player from each Division that raises the most money will receive a prize (at a later date once hit pledges are calculated).

The Team from each Division that raises the most money will receive a team prize (at a later date once hit  pledges are calculated.)

Lakeside Little League is excited to host our annual Moms Game for 2025, a fun-filled event designed to bring our Lakeside Mamas together for some friendly competition on the field!

📅 Game Dates: Saturday, April 26th & Sunday, May 18th (Participants must be available for both dates)
👥 Limited to 56 Participants – We will form 4 teams of 14 players each.
⚾ Game Format: Baseball games played with a pitching machine - Official Rules Found Here!
👩 Team Captains: Each team will have a designated captain responsible for team communication, planning, and coordination.

Get ready for one of the most exciting events of the season—the Majors Home Run Derby! Now in its 6th year, this power-packed showdown will feature the top sluggers from each Majors team as they compete for the ultimate title.

Each team will nominate three players to step up to the plate and take their best swings, but in the end, only one will be crowned the Home Run Derby Champion! Who will rise to the occasion and send the most balls over the fence?
